Why I write what I write

I have never been a blogger. I hear about blogs, I read other people's blogs but never thought of writing my own. I enjoyed writing once and now all I write are emails. But my life has changed and today I see myself as a mother who is in search of a cure. A cure for my son which will help him live a life like any other boy of his age.

I write this blog with the main purpose of sharing what my 7.5yr old boy is going through. I write with the hope that someday someone living in similar shoes as mine will read this blog and share their experience with me, I write with the hope that someday I will get to know that there are others like me who has not slept like sleep should be, laughed like its from the heart and spend one moment without worrying for my boy's future. I anticipate that someday someone will be able to tell me what helped their children fight what my son is fighting today.

Motherhood is a blessing, it is both challenging as well as rewarding. It brings you joy, it brings you fun, it brings you love and also brings you your share of work, responsibilities, stress and did I say more work?!! I have been blessed with 2 beautiful boys. This blog is about my elder son Soham and our lives around him. Soham has been suffering from severe chronic eczema for the last 2.5yrs and it has modified our lives completely from what it used to be. We have constantly been in search of a cure, initially believing that it will "go away" with age and slowly realising that if we do not help our son in more than one way, nature wont be able to take care of him.

I will be posting pictures of him and his eczema spots. Some of them will be graphic for people who have not met Soham in person. Please use your discretion to view the picture links. I post these pictures not to shock people but in the hope that maybe someone who has seen something similar will be able to help me in searching a remedy.

I look forward to your feedback in the following posts and I welcome your recommendations to give Soham relief. Thank you for reading.
